Roger Darlington

Roger has spent a lifetime caring passionately about the quality of people's working lives.  He gained a First Class Honours degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (now part of the Manchester Business School) before working as a national trade union official for three trade unions.  He negotiated terms and conditions for different groups of staff and specialised for many years in safety, health and welfare issues at work.  He has been part of Lamont Associates since its formation, acting as a Support Trainer.

His other strong interest is consumer activism. He has been Chair of the Internet Watch Foundation and Chair of the Greater London Region of Postwatch and he is currently a member of the Ofcom Consumer Panel and the Board of Consumer Focus.
